Wall Eye Pair | Black and White

$650.00

by Betsy Youngquist

Eyes as symbols allow a conduit between ourselves and the forces of wonder that surround us. I intend for these eyes to watch over and protect wherever they find themselves. They are veils to magical worlds. The eyes are surrounded by glass beads, glass stones, and Czech rhinestones. These surface materials were adhered using a mosaic process. There are holes on the back of each piece for hanging on the wall.

Materials-

  • Acrylic eye

  • Vintage and contemporary European pressed glass

  • Contemporary and antique glass beads and stones

  • Vintage glass African beads (Italian source)

  • Antique microbeads from the 1800s (Italian)

2 x 3.5 x 1.5 inches each eye
